Things I love

I’ve decided to send a bit of love to the blogosphere!

This is a new space where I’ll be putting shout-outs to some blogs and websites that I am loving so that you can all have a little squiz when you’ve had enough of The Nookbook (impossible, I know…)

If you have a great blog or know of one that is inspirational, fun, beautiful and creative please let me know so I can check it out! Email me at or leave me a comment :D

Big ups to:

Living: This is THE go-to place for all things home and living. Don’t even get me started on theip iPad app. Pure genius. These ladies know how to roll…and glue…and paint :p Since becoming engaged I have LOVED indulging in wedding magazines and blogs- and Martha certainly knows how to do it right. These websites are great for general styling and party ideas as well. The Society Inc- by Sibella Court, is an establishment. Sibella’s styling work, products and collaborations, books and gorgeous, gorgeous website is inspirational and dynamic. Pretty much all that I wish to be and everything I love in the world in one spot :) The beautiful yogi Emily’s blog about health, life, mindfulness, yoga and everything in-between. The home and lifestyle platform of News Magazines. I love the design and the content gets even better. Etsy is THE best world-wide crafter’s market. I have purchased bespoke Thank you stamps from the USA, upholsterer’s tacks from India and am currently coveting giant, wrap-around Turkish bath sheets.

Weddings: The Knot is now in Australia! With more season-specific and localised info, The Knot just became my second favourite place for wedding info. This site is great for style and planning ideas Real Weddings is just that- Real Weddings. Beautiful. heart-warming, individual and real. I love this. This is what weddings are all about. I love the title- and I will be wearing Orange shoes on my wedding day :) This site is all about DIY- individual, unique and personal

Food: Managing Editor of Inside Out magazine and prolific blogger Lee Tran Lam offers us review of food, delicious food. Finally someone I don’t know! I just stumbled across this food blog and how beautiful is the photography? Food. Travel. Need I say more?

Design: Tabitha Emma is a freelance designer and illustrator extraordinaire. I just love love love the design of her site. Gorgeous.
